Because we are local, the awkward bits are our normal. We arrange the free moving-house bay suspension in Tower Hamlets, apply for a suspension in Newham with the right notice, book concierge goods lifts in the towers, and check London Stadium event days so a Stratford move is not blocked by a match-day parking ban.
A good move is mostly preparation. We start with a quick survey, a room-by-room list or a video walkthrough, and confirm the crew size and van so the price is fixed and honest. On the day, we protect floors and communal areas, wrap furniture in blankets, and load in a planned order so nothing is crushed and everything comes off at the other end in the right room.
We dismantle and reassemble standard flat-pack beds and wardrobes, and we can add a full or part packing service with boxes and materials supplied. Local call-outs from £50 for jobs up to 50 minutes. Van and driver £40/hour within 10 miles; van with 1 man helping £70/hour or 2 men helping £90/hour, with a 2-hour minimum on hourly bookings. After the first 4 hours, assisted rates drop by £10/hour for the remaining time. For local journeys up to 100 miles, the first 10 miles are included; only the miles beyond the first 10 are charged at £3/mile. For journeys over 100 miles, £3/mile applies to all journey miles, plus one attendance fee: £60 for driver-only transport without help, £150 with 1 helper at pickup and drop-off, or £280 with 2 helpers. A helper attendance fee replaces the £60 driver-only fee; it is not added on top. Confirm the full quote before booking.
