Our £40/hour van-and-driver option covers transport; lifting help is priced separately. Choose one man helping at £70/hour or two men helping at £90/hour, with a two-hour minimum. For heavy or stairs-only jobs, a fridge-freezer, a sofa bed, a wardrobe down three flights, book a two-person crew and it is done in half the time with none of the risk to your back or the building.
Every van carries moving blankets, straps and a sack truck as standard. Blankets matter in East London, where period conversions in Bow and Wapping have narrow staircases and tight landings that will scuff an unprotected wardrobe. Marketplace and IKEA pickups are routine: we collect from any East London seller, can pay the seller on your behalf for a small handling fee, and deliver to your door, typically in one to two hours.
